this morning had the best utility cust. service i've ever experienced. Eve answered my call almost before the ring tone sounded - i was quite taken aback as i had settled down with a coffee prepared for the usual wait... she was then human, efficient, pleasant, personable and charming. things which i often fail to achieve! she offered to call me back in a few minutes when she had traced something for me -and she did!
worth noting that DWR CYMRU are a 'not-for-profit-company' . Could this have a bearing. I've recieved an £18 rebate (like a profit share i guess) and my water meter means my 6 month bill is tiny compared to non-metered bills of yore. wow. i'm still in shock.

I'm with Welsh Water too and find them excellent - they were the only utility company not to mess me around when we moved here last year; AND as you say Steve, their customer service is so far brilliant - no farming out to the Indian subcontinent and HUMAN!!!
