Other saving and investment forums?

I have learnt a lot from this forum - I read it absolutely every day. Could some of the experienced posters say what other savings/investment forums and websites they consider to be worth following?

I read this one and the hxxp:fool.co.uk boards. Note: that site does actively sell products, unlike this one, but the boards are similar to the forums on here, and can be very useful.

    Think Debbie meant http://www.fool.co.uk

I'd second this site, the discussion forums are excellent, particularly Dealing With Debt and Living Below Your Means. The link for the forums is in the top right-hand corner of the screen in small text (which is a shame as the forums are the cornerstone of the site IMHO.)

I like the LBYM one too, and the share discussions are very useful and interesting. I agree the forums aren't necessarily so easy to find!

I shall look at the fool boards, thanks - is there a general investment one? I know they have individual share boards but havent used those for a while as have sold all the shares I had. It is general investment forums I am most interested in rather than savings which MSE is just fine for. Not that I knew saving and investing were not the same thing until I started to read Dunston's posts!

moneylover, here's a link to a handy list of general investment boards on TMF.

Out of that list, I subscribe to: Pauly Pilots Pub (or PPP, as it's known), HYP, and Value Shares. They are all pretty much involved with discussion of individual shares, though on the HYP that is used as the basis of a pretty mechanical means of investing. PPP is my favourite: some of the posts are pure class.

    Hi, debbie42,

Those are in my favourites too. Another excellent ( now defunct ) TMF board was Inside Plastic Tortoise. Sadly, PT passed away in 2002 but the posts are still well worth reading.
