Is any one aware of any one else that offers a Land line, but allows me to source ADSL from else were?

I ask because my Line rental saver dose not expire until Easter
What if the rest of the flock followed Sky

thanks

Sorry, but your post is not clear.

    No.

Most BB deals are based on the bundle of line and ADSL in order to achieve a reasonable cost. If you plan to dump BT as your carrier, any new BB service you took may be lost, and then hit you with an Early Termination.

Better to keep the phone/ADSL from the same carrier as there is less to go wrong. In the meantime, use local wifi or a PAYG dongle.

If you take a non-LLU line rental service from a BT reseller, you should be able to take your ADSL from another provider.
But it will be more expensive

What a misguided little soul you are!

Who is interested in Openreach? Not only is the PSTN maintained by them, it belongs to them too.

Only you would think I was advocating WiFi theft, I would have expected you to use what was legally available - I can access The Cloud FoC from 4 different retailers in my street.

As for mobile BB - for 12 weeks, and as a standby, there's nothing better.

Still - if you're going to be unpleasant about it, I trust the new year will bring you what you deserve.

If you want to be rude...I'm challenged by your lack of communication skills.

For instance, what does 'What if the flock followed Sky' [ A question?] mean ?

    The phone coop do this.

Their current charge for 12 months line rental in advance is only £120, so even if it goes up before easter should still be cheaper than BT when you escape.

  • No offense has been intended
Do people here use the term wall chalking?

Quentin to answer 'What if the rest of the flock followed Sky'
I'm surprised that you would not be aware that Sky have stopped their line saver deal. It has been suggested by some that other companies offering a similar product might do the same 'because sky did', hence the term flock (of sheep)
