I'm back....... somehow went astray for 9 months
Not really been keeping track of NSDs over that time, but I sat down last night and put all my January spends into my spreadsheet (kept hold of them all, it was just pushing myself to spend an hour or so processing them), and have just counted up my NSDs.
Towards the end of last year I changed my shopping habits, so I'm out for fresh fruit (sometimes), veg and milk 3 or 4 times a week and I'm wasting a lot less than I was 12 months ago. But it impacts on NSDs, so I'd decided that if those were the only things I bought I wouldn't count it as a spend day.
Also decided I'd challenge myself to 150 NSDs this year, then realised this will be more of a challenge than I'd considered. I'm hoping to do a long distance walk later in the year, setting out from home around 10th September and spending up to 8 weeks moving around every day - which means having to buy food and pay for accommodation every single day in that time frame. So I really only have 10 months in which to achieve my 150 days, meaning I need to get 15 a month.
And having updated my spreadsheet with all January's spends it turns out I've only managed 10 (including today) for this month
I used to aim for 12 totally spend free NSDs (ie. nothing was 'allowed'), and I managed 7 of those.Cheryl0 -
