Does anyone Multi Account

I can't fathom the point in having more than one current account, this thread has not convinced me otherwise.
because you can make money from multiple current accounts.
plus it can sometimes help to separate your money.
i have 3 current accounts. My main one with barclays, which i get paid into and use for day to day spending (when not using cash back credit card). And i make use of the mobile phone insurance connected to the account, and free antivirus
I also have a santander account which i use to pay most of my bills, money to cover the bills is transferred into the account when i get paid. This means i earn cash back on the DD bills, as well as having my money for bills separate so i will never accidentally spend it. I make about £5 cash back/month from this, so after the £2 monthly fee, i get £3/month
I also have a halifax account, and have used 2 DD that don't pay cash back in santander, and get an extra £5/month0 -

Just checked that out and you're right.0 -
DW and I have at least 20 between us, most are giving us a benefit of some type (free fivers, high interest, insurance, convenient deposits, free no load international withdrawals etc), a couple have 2 nominal direct debits ready to be sacrificed when a good switching offer comes along.I think....0

I've decided to setup a First Direct account and use it as my main account and use my Halifax account as my sub account and feed it £750 per month ensuring I get the £5.
FD and Halifax now seem to do cashback offers but the details are very minimal.0 -

I'll leave my two DD's with Halifax then.
Edit I actually just realised I have been getting the £5 every month for this account but I have only one DD paying out although I do have a monthly standing order paying in, does this count?0 -
My Hubby opened a FD account to get the £125 switching bonus. From this he moves money to a Santander 123 account, enough to cover all the DDs basically to reap the rewards of the cashback.
I switched to the Halifax Rewards for the £100 bonus and the £5 a month. I kept my old YB current account open and I use this as an short term savings account/emergency fund as it has a free £50 OD buffer.0 -
