CCTV system recommendation?

Hello,
My parents are needing to buy a a cctv system, their new house is somewhat isolated and has apparently been burgled once or twice in the past. They want to spend about £500 or less, need to have ip access to check on when away.
I saw this set on Maplin (oh it seems I can't post links) it is called swann-advanced-1tb-12-channel-cctv-kit-with-6-bullet-cameras-
It sounds very good? I wondered if anyone here had experience with this or may be able to recommend something similar that works better? Because I don't mind paying up to £200 more than the cost of this one - I just really want to help them get something that works well
