Do I have to pay for professional carpet cleaning (complications)

I have 3 different systems, wet, low and very low moisture depending on the carpet type! I always look at a job first.

I just thought I'd post the outcome in case it's of any interest to anyone.

I explained on checkout that I would challenge the deduction on the grounds that there was nothing in the contract to state that it was necessary.

Didn't hear any further comment since then, but they've just repayed the full amount without deductions.
