Buying pet meds online

Hello.
I've got a puppy and 2 cats. I use stronghold on them monthly for fleas, ticks, worms etc but it's really expensive from the vet and I've seen them half the price online, however it says prescription only.
If I make a vet appointment to get a prescription it makes it the same price or more.
How do you get round this/make buying online worthwhile?

I would stick with the vet's providing until your puppy is old enough for adult treatment, as vets like to change them over at different ages, depending on breed and size. (My cavaliers were kept on puppy versions for longer).


You could ask for a prescription at 'MOT' time, to save on consultation fees, if your vet is not willing to provide a script without seeing an animal.
