Which Homepug for Humax Freesat ?

My daughter (family) have just bought a Humax Freesat+ with Free Time HD Digital TV Recorder. (from argos ) and would like to use the iplayer/itv player etc facility. This means they need to connect an ethernet cable from the receiver to their router for the broadband connection required, this they new and accept.
In the set-up guide, they make allowances for those who do not have their router close/behind the tv, by suggesting Homeplug Adapters. A quick google shows these things are available at varying prices/makes. If you have one such recorder and have selected a Homeplug, maybe you'd tell me if it is idea and the cost etc. Like most people, they would like to keep the cost down, so any info would be appreciated.
