Multi Trip or Single

Hi everyone, need some advice regarding travel insurance

During the next year I'll be spending 5 weeks in Mexico. 1 week in Austria skiing 4/5 months in Spain and maybe a few weekends here or there.

You will need special ins, annual ins won't usually cover you for more than 30 days at a time.
Have a look for long duration insurance.

Is there any chance you can shorten the Mexico trip?

Looks like you're going to need individual specialist policies, at least for Spain and Mexico.

No one, of the shelf, policy is going to cover you for extended stays in Spain Mexico and for winter sports, although if you're lucky and can find an annual policy for either of the two extended trips that work out cheaper than a duration only policy you may be able get winter sports thrown in.
Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear
  • Thanks Peachy. Ill get looking

    You lucky so-and-so!

Yes: get separate policies for each trip. No sense paying for winter sports cover for the Spanish trip, nor paying an Americas premium for the time spent in Europe.

Don't forget to contact your home insurance provider too - most of them will only cover for a period of 30 days without the property being occupied.
