PCN - Broken Yellow Line Appeal?

Was up north over the weekend and parked on a road where many other cars were parking at the time on a single yellow line. Initially thought, as in London, the enforcement times were 8am-7:30pm however in Manchester it was 8am-8pm.
Subsequently when I got back to the car, a PCN was left for me on my windscreen asking me to pay £35 in 14 days due to 'Parked in a restricted street during prescribed hours'.
I have just checked the photo's (as attached) and it seems the yellow lines are very faint and broken in some areas.
Will there be anyway I can appeal?
Thanks

PePiPoo is the best place for council issued PCNs. There is a specialist section.
Post a thread there with scans of all documents you've got relating to the parking incident.
Here's the link.
http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?act=SF&s=&f=30Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

You need to show pics of both sides of the PCN in your first pepipoo post as well. They need to see the paperwork and you don't need a scanner, just pics.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Remember its holiday time for forum members too, you will get answer when people can respond, if you don't get an answer today bump your thread tomorrow. Provide all the information requested and they will get to you quickerWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

You have only shown the front, not surprising there have been no responses yet especially at Holiday time. Add the back in another reply which will then bump your thread to the top. I posted the above for good reason; the small print blurb is what they want to scrutinise!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
