Outlook having trouble with aol

I can't send to an aol address - I get a message saying Word and Outlook are not configured as my editor, then Word shuts down.

As far as I can tell, I'm sending to other addresses - haven't had replies to all tests, but they show up as sent.

Does this make any sense at all?

Are you sending via Outlook? If so what have you got set for default email editor?
Tools, options, mail format? Try setting it to use Word (if installed)

It's set to Word, and I'm having not trouble with sending to any other addresses.
