There are quite a few people here with multiple accounts that post spoof messages and I suspect there are one or two responsible for 50% of them

There are several indicators that make them pretty easy to spot so I rarely respond but I do wonder what the motivation is or what is the thought process in the poster's mind is. I used to think they provoke response and discussion which may be useful though only when they go off piste, but mostly I think they are a colossal waste of people's time
