FREESAT Channels

FREESAT used to have 10 or 11 news channels, in the past week or so I can only see 4, I have lost EURONEWS, SKY NEWS, NHK, CNBC and Bloomberg and maybe a few others.
On a positive front tho' LBC97.3 is now available - handy for me as it's not on my DAB transmitter weher I live.
Has anyone else noticed this channel change, the official FREESAT site makes no mention of the change to the news channel lineup?
And just in case there's any confusion I do mean FREESAT and not SKY Freesat or even Freeview.
Cheers

It's possible the LNB has failed. The LNB is the device that is on the arm that sticks out from the Sat dish. Satellite TV signals are usually broadcast using alternating polarization to maximise the number of transmissions carried in a given frequency range as reception equipment can distinguish between transmissions using the same frequency but different polarization. If the LNB has failed it is stuck on either the vertical or horizontal so that some channels won't be viewed. Changing the LNB is easily done if the Sat dish is low down on your property.0

Count yourself lucky fella, I had some work done on my roof and didnt realise until later that they had smacked the dish and moved it - I have lost half the channels! Happened months ago though and just cba to get up and realign it all again (motorised system). I keep telling the wife that she can't expect me to put ladders up with the winds we keep having, but I don't think she is going to buy if forever! :rotfl:0
