Well, you've to look at it in the meantime, and it'll be worth £350 less when you come to sell it because of the scratch, perhaps more as people will think its been neglected.
Personally, i would get it done.
If it's sold after another 5 years or so when the car's only worth a few hundred it won't make much difference.
However, one dent seems to attract more dents fairly quickly and, although only psychological, it never seems to run quite as well as before.
So for £200 to £300 I think I would be happier getting it done.0 -
I'd fix it too, nice cars should be proudly kept well.
Some bodyshops get a bit carried away with their prices, the handiest place you will ever find is the little bodyshop tucked away on a small industrial unit, no carpets, managers, receptionists, company cars etc to pay for, my car goes in every couple of years to such a chap who sorts out all the little dings and scratches it gets.
Look after this little chap if you find him.0 -
Sounds like it might be more than just a scratch at that price.
Has the wing been dented at all?
You might even be able to get a wing from another car in the right colour. What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?0 -
Rear quarter panel, so no chance of just bolting the panel on.
Missed that. Normally very good at ensuring I read the opening post properly too.
Rest stands though - any dent? For the money, it seems like they should be filling and sanding as well. What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?0 -
