Fuming over my new look delivery

Ordered 12 things in the New look sale, they where delivered today when no one was home so the driver just left the package on the doorstep IN THE RAIN!
Everything in the bag is wet including a pair of shoes which I don't think are going to be usable now.
I'm absolutely fuming, what kind of moron leaves a parcel on a doorstep in December when its raining!
I've already emailed New Look but I'm not sure if its them or Hermes I need to contact. I brought my goods from New Look but it was the Hermes driver who left the package in such a stupid place and damaged my goods.

I'd imagine it would be New Look, as that's who your contract was with - they're the ones who have chosen the courier service. Hope you get it sorted painlessly.Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0

NL usually just offer free p&p off next order though. nothing special.

You must have the same courier driver as me! I complained on Saturday to new look as the status of my order said delivered to letterbox. There was nothing. Door went this morning another parcel arrived and the delivery driver said to check round the back as she had launched a pair of shoes over my 6 foot fence on Friday. Luckily, the shoes are undamaged as the high winds we had, had blown some cardboard over the top of them. The bag was soaking though.
Will be complaining to new look about the rubbish delivery service and will now never order online from them again.0 -
You'll be lucky to get a coherent response from New Look. I emailed them after I bought a dress in their sale which should have had straps with it but didn't - I pointed out to them that I loved the dress and it was the last one in the shop, but could they just send me the straps for it. It can be worn strapless but I need the straps for it (I would have used that tape stuff but I'm allergic to it :mad: and putting straps on it was the only way I could keep it up
)
They emailed me back to say I should return the dress to have a refund credited to the original method of payment and re-purchase another with straps :mad: ignoring the fact that they have signs everywhere saying that its exchange only on sale items and that it was the last one in the shop anyway. Also the size I purchased isn't among the few they have available on the website so I cant even order online :mad:
I sent them a slightly sarcastic email back pointing this out along with a copy of the original email with the relevant parts emboldened and saying that I've had to buy some clear straps from M&S. I think alot of these deliveries come from one man band deliverers (they use their cars). We had a driver actually walk into our house to leave a parcel, didn't even ring the bell. That was with debenhams, I did complain but never got a response. I also get things thrown over our gate.0
