Can I ask what peoples methods are for this?
I'm really curious to keep track next year and compare to my prize ratio but I'm not keen for it to take up time which could be more useful for actually entering!
Just wondering what people's tips are for effiencinet and non time consuming way to keep track. Because I do so many on tw/fb etc I just don't know what to do
Will take this opp to also say thanks to all posters for making this board so fantastic, and all BG's
Good luck and best wishes for 2014

I don't bother. I have spates where I do lots, then life gets busy and I have a few weeks not doing any. If I tried to keep track I reckon I'd start to feel down about the weeks I wasn't doing much or it would become a chore trying to keep up.. On balance I'd rather take it as it comes and keep the fun element. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

I have to say this has been my motto the last few years! Xx0 -
This sits by page minimize, close etc counts tabs open, I only open comps I'm doing so I get a rough count https://addons.mozilla.org/En-us/firefox/addon/tab-counter/

I tend to subscribe to each I enter via MSE and it keeps count for me. Don't enable email notifications though lolA strong man stands up for himself, a stronger man stands up for others.0

I don't really keep count - I just know I enter lots of dailies plus lots of others so lots and lots....and during December....lots and lots and lots!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0

I just keep a tally of how many I enter a day. I know a lot of people don't bother, but personally I open so many threads then decide not to enter (can't take holidays at short notice, live in Scotland so can't do a lot of the spa days, restaurants, etc, picky about clothes/accessories!). Sometimes I can feel like I've entered LOADS because I've spent a long time comping but I actually haven't. I don't have time to do hundreds and hundreds - I keep count to make sure I am doing enough to have a reasonable chance of winning (aim for 40 to 50 a day).2018 wins: Aspinal of London jewellery box, Boudavida gym outfit, HP Pavilion laptop, The List party tickets, All Points East festival tickets, Kiehls moisturiser, By Terry cc serum, Nars Liquid Bronzer, Benefit highlighter, Nars illuminator, Fresh advanced lip trio set, Cetaphil sample set, signed copy of My Absolute Darling by Gabriel Tallent0

Is there a way you can check how many thanks you have made? That way, if you thank everyone for every comp you enter, you could get an approx number, accepting that you may well thank more people than comps you enter.....just a thought?2024 £72, 2023 £2230, 2022 £300, 2021 £1800, 2015 £3790, 2014 £44600

count ...Rational judgement, now, at this very moment.
Virtuous action, now, at this very moment.
(Wisdom, Courage, Self-control, Justice)
Willing acceptance - now, at this very moment - of what you can’t change0 -
educated guess - would rather enter more compsproud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0

I have a spreadsheet - just keep a note in there of how many I'm entering, it was difficult to get used to at first, but it's not long before it becomes just a part of comping routine - open tab, enter comp and add 1 to the spreadsheet
I'm a bit geeky and love to find out various stats - how many comps I enter a month, total value of wins, the average number of comps I do a day, average prize value and how many comps I enter per win etc
I also list my wins, and can see how many wins I have from random draws, fb, twitter, effort comps etc and see what is working for me
I find it interesting to be able to compare things - i.e. last month I only entered half the number of competitions I did this month, but won 4 more prizes - and they were almost all effort or twitter RT compsBest of 2011: London Trip,Hot Air Balloon,£1660, phone,Kindle,Trip to Lapland! Total 2011 wins: £6865
Best of 2012: Trip to Disneyland Paris, £1665 cash/vouchers, trip to Harrogate, trip to Birmingham, £230 vacuum, 2 x mobile phones, Olympics tickets! Total 2012 wins: £66240
