Car insurance cancellation within 14 days question
Options
Hi,
On the 20th December I switch my car insurance from one car to another and paid a £45 charge for the priviledge.
I now need to switch the insurance back to the first car that was insured.
Can I do that under my statutory 14 day cancellation rights or has that expired as the original policy was taken out long before?

It's expired.0 -
You won't have any cancellation rights as the policy is not a new policy from what you say. You have changed the risk twice and will be charged twice. You might get a small reduction on the second bill if the risk is less but I doubt that too.0

OK, thanks for clarifying that.
Naturally, I didn't want to pay for a second transfer if it was avoidable.0 -
Why not just take out a multi car policy?0
