Busy day today, had all the family round
Hubby made a huge beef stew and I made a huge chicken curry and we cooked a big tray of chipolatas. For extras we made roast potatoes and brown and white rice.
For puds I got a bramble pie out of the freezer, hubby made a gorgeous treacle sponge, sister brought a chocolate gateau and one daughter brought an apple cake.
There was plenty for all 22 of us!
Friends are calling round tomorrow after work to help us eat the leftovers
and hubby is going to make another treacle sponge
Had a lovely time with the family and to top it all it was a NSD!!A family that eats together, stays together

Hi all
Yesterday and today are both NSD. I managed to not spend any extra money yesterday when picking up my son's pre-ordered pushchair in town and today i resisted temptation in the petrol station.
I always find it easier to do NSD when having not much money (obviously). My problems seem to start when i get paid i go crazy buying things i dont need, must try and keep up the good work next week on payday.
Hoping tomorrow will also be a NSD too. I'll be staying in most of the day as i'm waiting around for someone to collect something i sold on Ebay and not sure what time they're coming. Also the bad weather stops me from browsing around the shops.
