I am looking for a dab radio with Bluetooth capability for living room.
Don't want it to be huge or loud. I don't want anything with a dock.
Ill be streaming from iPhone & nexus 7.
Budget is around £100, maybe tiny bit more.
Want something with good pedigree & build quality & won't date in looks. Preferably rechargeable. Looking at bookshelf style
Do these single speaker unit lack compared to double speaker?
Is streamed music same quality as having device plugged in?
Looking for something with clear radio & streamed sound, decent enough bass & no distortion if turned up a bit.
I have a pure dab mini for the kitchen which is great
I have narrowed it to 2:
Pure evoke d2 with Bluetooth which came out last month
Philips ORT2300c with Bluetooth
Philips is meant to be cheap in build & quality & has a hanger style aerial which put me off. The pure model without Bluetooth won awards with what hifi & both this model & Philips got 5* eith what hifi
Otherwise no real reviews on either
Any experience of the above & what one would recommend as being best for my specs? Or other suggestion?
Lean towards the new pure
Will obv check them out but hard to test in busy shops
Thanks
