Washing machine faulty after six days. Refund?

It's possible that the lead was damaged on installation or the washer is sitting on the cable, or maybe some water has managed to leak onto the socket.
It's unlikely, but it would better finding this before the engineer arrived.0 -

Hi there. Sorry for the late reply. I've been working today. The engineer luckily came just before I left this morning. He did some tests and has confirmed it was faulty. He said it was the motor that had gone. So just trying to get Argos to arrange a date to collect but their office closed before I got home. Typical. Thank you for all your help on this.0
