It was hilarious! I really don't think the OP realised how much danger he was putting himself in!!

    I know!

Even if it wasn't true, it's still creepy thinking this kind of thing happens!

I know a lass (I say lass, she's in her 40's), I used to hang around with her youngest sister. She comes from a good family, used to do things for charity, but she's an alcoholic. One day she walked into this old woman's house (think she knew her, but don't know how well), helped herself to a drink, pulled her pants down and pee'd in the middle of the living room. She obviously wasn't in her right mind, suffered from depression, and the alcohol just made it 10x worse.

I see her around town now and again and it's sad to see :(

I think "I don't feel emotionally prepared to *insert something relatively straightforward*" is going to become a running joke. It certainly has the potential!

Earlier today, my husband said asked if we will take down the Christmas decorations tomorrow.

I replied that I wasn't emotionally prepared to take down the tree, and started laughing. He looked at me as if I'd gone mad... I'd forgot he wasn't glued to MSE like me!

As for 'penis beaker', I missed a whole episode of Strictly because of reading that, it was hysterical.

I've been laughing at the threads from before I joined MSE. 'Toilet', I think could actually be genuine, posted by a very dim person!

'Dead dog' was bonkers, but I lost respect for the poster after a while because he carried on with the joke for too long. Sort of flogging a dead horse..... or dog!

Has anyone got a link for the penis beaker thread? Sounds awesome!

The link is on post 8 of this thread.

Funniest thread I have ever read, anywhere.:rotfl::T

No wonder it ended up in our newspapers and then went viral....:T

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)

Was that the same or different one to the one where his girlfriend was pregnant, but it was something like she didnt tell him until she was 6 months gone and then it was twins?

I remember that one, he was too scared to ask her if she was pregnant wasn't he? He came back recently to update us, poor man l thought he was a troll. :rotfl:

Another vote for penis beaker, although Daffodil's thread about how women hate her for being too beautiful and we should all be in makeup and heels to pop to Tesco amused me greatly too.

    HBS x

Daffodil for me! Too beautiful for us!

I enjoyed the impromptus party the other day, especially as it was to divert attention from the offensive OP.
