    Good afternoon campers!
Squally day up here in the North East Midlands......haven't ventured out of the door, as have been superglued to my desk for Budget Day :-/ or perhaps that should be :-) as i always feel more in control when I've done it.
    Today's small positive things:
*Last of this week's laundry done overnight on Economy 7 tariff.
*Checked all December's outgoings & reconciled December budget. Ouch!
*Set January's budget & went through it with mr f.
    *Updated my 'personal spends' budget.
*Paid credit cards in full. (Usual petrol, a few presents, but mostly those 3 large horrible unexpected bills we had. Intended to pay off over 3 months to spread cost, but instead, did a transfer from our own savings so we can pay ourselves back over 3 months without the £80 or so in interest - thanks DNMS for this suggestion. I know it will work if I am disciplined & I'm feeling very motivated at the moment).
*Read energy meters & uploaded readings online.
    *Did some surveys.
*Submitted claim for my next £30 Debenhams giftcard from Toluna Surveys.
*Ordered small nephew's birthday present while it's still on special offer.
*mr f ordered new Dyson part......under a fiver.....significantly more dfw than shelling out for a new Dyson, which was what we originally thought we'd be doing.
*Continue eating festive leftovers - turkey soup with herb dumplings for dinner (& a side order of stinky sprouts for mr f), followed by the last of the Christmas cake, yum!
    Still to do:
*Share a nice hot bubbly bath
*Knit.......something for myself this time, after all the time I spent knitting Christmas gifts.
*Read the free mags my Mum gave me.
    OK, that's me for today,
