Its really bad in Japan as well for killing animals, not only do they butcher whales but gas domestic pets . What happens is that people buy puppies and kittens for their handbags etc and then when they are too big dump them.
They get taken to pet crematoriums and gassed, no attempt to rehome them or nothing. Thousands each year beautiful healthy animals and its miles worse than here.
The UK should have nothing to do with these horrible countries that treat animals so badly. South Korea and China also fall into this bracket.
