I just don't think they are as good as deal as they make out. if i remember correctly they take the % you save from the RRP and not the current price they are just before the deal starts.

It's a good deal if it's what you NEED at a price you can afford and are prepared to pay.

If you don't need it or you can't afford it or you are not prepared to pay that price, then it is not a good deal to you.
    1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
    2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
    3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?

I wish my wife could grasp this she is a sucker for "Bargains" and "Deals" :rotfl:

The same "rule" could/should be applied to all threads on here. After all, it's supposed to be a "money saving" forum, yet a lot of it has turned into a "how can I sue the business".

    Money saving tips:
    1. If you don't need it, don't buy it, and don't waste time looking at the prices.
    2. If you need it, take a look at the prices in shops or online. Can you afford it? If not, then save money until you can.
    3. If you need it and can afford it, then find a price and level of service you are happy with, then make the purchase.

If you fall into points 1 & 2, then you're not interested in money saving, and your post is just a rant looking for sympathy (or compensation for your own mistakes). If you've spent money because of point 3, good for you.

  • I got a Garmin Edge 500 for my bike for £89.99. On Amazon it's usually around the £140 mark, you can get it for a little over £130 on some other sites pre shipping.

So that looks like a genuine deal to me.

Most were rubbish, and some prices even higher than a previous recent lower price. Camelcamel is a great tool to check if it's the bargain it's supposed to be...
