You are right. You can stay up to 10pm on your checkout day, as long as you have left your lodge. We always use that day at the pool, because its normally quieter.

Just getting back to this thread.

Managed to do the Segway and Quad Biking, by booking the night before. Horse riding we couldn't manage, as there weren't any places left, but did field archery instead.

Bought food and other supplies from the large Sainsburys in Frome (about 8 miles away!), but worth as the shops on site were fairly expensive.

Did a Chinese takeaway, on the Sunday night on site, as it was 10% off if you came and collect it, also on drinks.

Stayed on site the entire weekend, the car park did look full, so thought it was best to leave it after we got back from Sainsburys. There was plenty to do and see anyway.

We filled our gaps by playing table tennis and bowling, which didn't appear to be needed to be pre booked, as long as there was space avaiable it was ok.

You can book activities in advance through their website using your customer booking ref. Be careful with the activities that Centerparcs outsource such as the horse riding and the birds of prey. We got lost and were 5 mins late for our booked session with the birds and they would not let us do it. No money back either!

I would pre book though as Centerparcs seem to be busy all year around. Take your own food as the park market is expensive and so are the restaurants. Cleanliness can be an issue I'm afraid. I don't think there are enough cleaners for the size of the sites, so are not given sufficient time to clean properly. I think if you get a nice clean villa it is because the previous occupants have left it that way. I always leave places spotless so whover went in after me would not have had a problem. Also take your own bikes as theirs are not the best.
