Proof of deposit

If I had money towards the deposit for a house with my 'new' husband (from a flat he had no claim on) and put it into our joint account to arrange a cheque to the solicitors but have proof it came from my account initially can I still prove that I paid the deposit? Thanks,

Are you buying jointly with a joint mortgage and the deposit is coming from asset(s) belonging to either of you solely, or jointly?

I think there will be an issue as the couple are married. So if this is a deed of trust and divorce case this can cause problems0
