Great post - but how do you link the card to an account? I've been wondering how to spend my US$

Just phone up Citibank and they will link it to whichever account you want. They say it is done immediately.
  • I am a little confused!

Are you sure no credit check?

    Who actually issued the card?

    Thanks!

I'm very very sure that there is no credit check !!
it is issued by American Express

Sorry mate, please do not think I don't believe you!:D

But, I am extremely surprised that a major issuer like Am Ex does not credit check applications!

Have you checked Experian, Equifax and Call Credit to ensure that there were no checks?

I have read the t&c's on the link you gave above and they state about using CRA's.

    I am just very surprised!

It is credit checked and probably with Equifax rather than Experian:

As I said, not that I don't beleive you, just that I am very surprised!

I wonder how they will record conduct on the account with the CRA's if the card s issued from NY. They say in the t&c's that info will be shared.

    Thanks.
