Hi,
Wandering if anyone can help me out a bit. Looking at taking out a life insurance policy for my 18yr old son and really need advice and some feedback on which companies are ok.

Why does your son need life insurance?I am a Financial Adviser specialising in Mortgages, Protection, Health and Medical Insurance. I also write wills. All information posted on this site is for discussion only, and should not be taken as advice.0 -
Most life insurance companies pay out in excess of 90% of claims made.
Tell the truth on the application and there is no reason for them to decline the claim.... i used to work for a life office and we received a claim on life insurance for someone who had broken their arm! That goes as a rejected claim on claim statistics.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I think the OP wants a policy that will pay out to the son, rather than paying out if the son were to pass away.stephenni1971 wrote: »Why does your son need life insurance?I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Could do with clarity if you are wanting to insurer your life to give your son money on your death, for you to insure your sons life to give you money on his death or for your son to insure his own life to be given to whoever he decides?
Life really is only declined when people have lied on their application or where death is related to alcohol/ illegal drugs, suicide or a pre-existing condition that was explicitly excluded at time of purchase.0
