Okay, bit of a tale here.
Came in from work a week or so back, to find a leaflet shoved under our front door from "Green energy solutions" offering us free attic and cavity wall insulation. Now, coz we're proper MSErs, we had our attic done for free last summer (Ta very much!) and our flat is top floor, can't really have cavity wall without getting everyone in the building to agree!!
Didn't think anything of it, stuck the leaflet in the bin.
Then Helen came calling. 5 times so far. She insists that we can have the cavity wall done (I don't think we have the right sort of walls, if that makes sense) but every if we could, I would trust this lot.
She calls literally every couple of days, the company is no where to be found on Google, which is dodgy as you like, and she seems to not take no for an answer? Is there anything we can do to get her to leave us alone? The other problem is we're in a block of flats so other people let her in the main door, there's no way of keeping her out!
It's not a massive issue, but I'm sure this company are dodgy, and I don't want this random woman to keep coming round!

As soon as you open the door and discover she's the person knocking it or whatever, just close the door on her without explanation (since no hasn't worked)
If she phones, end the call as soon as you know it's her.
If that doesn't work then i'd consider contacting the police for advise on harassmentAll your base are belong to us.0 -
You need to tell Helen or her employers that you do not want her/them calling on you and that any call after that point will be reported to the police for harassment.
AFAIK, you have to tell them to stop before their repeated calling becomes harassment.0
