Which parachute bank account should i get?

Hi all!
Probably been asked a thousand times before but i cant find a specific enough answer to my predicament.
I am going to try and reclaim my bank charges (from a closed joint account) from HSBC, however i have a managed loan in the region of 3000 pounds still attactched to my current account of which i still use.
My query is which parachute bank account would be best for me? i have never incured a bank charge after the joint account was closed and have been in constant credit keeping up with all payments, however as i have the managed loan i am unsure which account is for me (halifax or alliance).
Also are HSBC likely to come after me for the whole amount of the loan?
