Hi hope someone can help

Over 12 month ago I received a letter to say I had been overplayed for the period 2011-2012 I called them and they said it looked as though they owed me the money that I had been underpaid I never received any confirmation but have been in no receipt of tax credits for over 12 month.

I have now had a letter to say I need to pay the over payment back but this time it's for a different amount only by a couple of quid and they want to take it out of my tax code. Any advice anyone as they are pretty useless when you call

All you get is the computer says you have been overpayed
