Esa and jsa joint claim

Hi, really need some advice on this hope someone can help.

I love with my partner and at the moment I am claiming esa due to unforeseen circumstances. This is a joint claim with partner. Now that I feel better I want to switch so that my partner is the main claimant on jsa so that he can look for a job and I will stay looking after our 2 young children.

I just want to know what the process is and if I am able to switch at all.

Hope someone can help as I wanna do this very soon.

The reason I am on esa is due to my partner being very depressed and confirming to me that he could not cope with the children so as a mum I feel I can not leave the kids with him and think its best for him to sign on as joint claim and me to look after the children.
