New interior oak doors; clear vs frosted glass

Hi,
We are changing out interior house doors. Currently we have lots of glazed doors downstairs (10 panel).
We were wondering on the difference in light transmission between clear glass and frosted glass.
Will there be a big difference in the amount of light flowing through the property if we replaced with similar doors but frosted designs?
Ta for any advice.

Hi, if you click the link and scroll down to the replacement range each pattern has a number , the higher the number the more obscure and less light is emitted through but gives more privacy. Stippolyte is closest to frosted on the list. The closest you can get to a true "frosted" is called "satin" but it can show marks easily like grease and can also be scratched easier than other patterns.
There are other companies who make patterned glass including frosted.

if you get clear glass you can put 'sticky backed plastic' on it
to make it appear frosted.
we got d-c fix from homebase and it looks fine with the one we chose.
easier to clean too.0
