Alliance Trust increasing SIPP fee

A heads-up for anyone who has their SIPP with ATS;
From next year, their annual fee is increasing from £162 p.a. to £186 p.a. (although apparently they will no longer be making additional specific charges for ad-hoc events... but there's precious few of those for those who carry funds anyway!
I seem to remember that the last increase wasn't all that long ago either- don't suppose anyone can remember when it last went up?
Good news- they've stated that they won't charge transfer-out fees within a 2-month window, so I think I'll be taking the opportunity to look around and check if there's anything cheaper. £24 extra p.a. isn't a huge amount extra, but they weren't particularly cheap to start with!
EDIT: Just seen that this has already been posted in another thread, too slow!
