Scottish Power no bills or account details

I set up a new account with Scottish Power in October, they've taken the DD payments monthly since but I haven't received any bills, no welcome pack, no account number or anything and when I tried to register it said I was already registered.
I requested to reset my password, but no email has been received and when I finally get to speak to someone they just say they've requested a welcome pack which will have everything there.
How do I get the MPRN and supplier number to be able to switch and move elsewhere if I don't have any details for my account?

    I'm in the same position and am getting increasingly worried about what my bill will be when they eventually sort it out.

    Luckily I took digital photos of meters and have that as a back up of my reasons.

    Hopefully someone will come up with a decent solution.

    Raise a complaint stating that you don't believe that you are getting the customer service you expect. No Welcome Pack received. No Account Number. No Love.

    As you are paying for service, if there is a minimum term you may find an early termination charge. If you've asked and not got the info, you may get your account number from the DD reference.

    If this doesn't work just cancel the DD. When the payment fails, you get letters with all the account numbers you'll ever need.
  • I managed to find the account number from the DD mandate, and when I registered online it said I'd already registered for the service. I asked for my password to be reset but after it said it can take an hour to be received it's still not arrived.
    Think I'll cancel the DD and wait for them to be in touch - I'm sure there's an early termination fee but I don't even know what tariff I'm on :(

  • Something very strange going on at SP.
    I switched to a longer term fixed account in the autumn and was told my monthly bill would reduce by a few pounds.
    Since then, I've just noticed they haven't taken anything out of my bank account in either October or November and then only £75 earlier this week.
    No messages as to why, in fact no contact whatsoever.
    I've tried logging into my account online but it keeps telling me I've entered an incorrect password and locking the account. The contact centre appears to have closed down over Christmas because no-one has answered the phone.
    I'd like to see them try and charge me for any arrears straight after the holidays.
  • It took me an hour and 40 minutes to get through yesterday, but I persevered and finally got to speak to someone.

    I've been put on paperless billing and standard tariff without being asked, told or advised but I got the MPRN and MPAN numbers I needed so I've started the switch process.
    £82 a month for a single person living in a 1 bed flat is excessive IMO
