Is it possible to claim Housing Benefit with a varied weekly income???

Iam currently working for an employment agency, which means that my hours are very variable. Sometimes I can only get 10-15 hours a week, sometimes 30-40 hours. Because of these unsteady hours and weekly income would I still be able to claim housing benefit?

yup you can, but you will probably have to keep sending your payslips in to them.

yep, you deffo can - usual approach is to average 5 weeks wages, although a different period can be used if it's more representative of your earnings.

yeah. 5 weeks wage slips are avereaged out. keep sending them in but dont expect them to be dealt with straight away, you may have to wait months dependant on how useless your LA is. where i work we have a dedicated team of people who work on things like this (we call anything like this 'post') so that we are on top of everything.
There's someone in my head, but it's not me
