Excel Parking - Letter from debt collectors!

Thank you. As we've had another letter from Rossendales, would you advise I named the driver so as to rewind the clock and appeal? My mum is getting fed up with the letters and I feel really guilty for this. The only problem is the registered keeper of the car at the time was also the driver at the time so the names would be the same, addresses different.0
-
The registered keeper can't name themself as driver.
Well they CAN but it won't reset the clock for appeal.0 -

Really not sure why you asked that on a public forum...could have worked out what to do yourself...have another think and edit your post like I did above.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

the fact is that you may get one , ten , twenty letters from debt collectors, all with scary typefaces and writing, its par for the course
either you pay up or you ignore, and if it is set to go to court you try to head off court by ADR to popla, or you have your day in court and try to beat them by any means necessary
but its pointless posting every time a debt collector letter arrives , wait until its an LBA or LBCC or court papers, as it clearly says in the sticky threads0 -
I apologise if I'm coming across as stupid to you guys, but you are more experienced than me. Honestly, if I knew what to do I wouldn't have asked for help.0

No not stupid. Just common sense - think about what you could do. You don't need 'experience' (except maybe more life experience if you are young!).would you advise I named the driver so as to rewind the clock and appealPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

And the above post deliberately omits the0

I never said or inferred you are stupid, all I meant was that we dont need to know about every debt collector letter received (even though its traumatic for those involved)
the decision to ignore from last summer has lead to this, so we assume you will carry on ignoring until the court stage (or pre-court stage)
as for who was driving , only you know that onewink wink , say no more !
if we could help you, we would, but that stage passed last summer, based on what you tell us0
