HL platform fees question

Hi, I have a quick question that I'm hoping someone here knows the answer to. I have been investing with Hargreves Lansdown for a little under a year in 1 fund. The platform fee is £2 per month. If I look at the fees options it says I can pay £18 worth of fees via a debit card.
Will these fees just continue to accumulate, or will the automatically be taken out of my regular monthly investments?
Also, are the fees included in the "cost" value under the fund? (in other words, if it says I have made 5% is that before or after fees?)
Thanks

They will take the fee from loyalty bonus, cash in the account, cash in other accounts you have with HL, or (if you really drag your heels) by selling some of your holdings.I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.
Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can't see them.0 -
Note that you can change your regular investment to leave some cash uninvested and this will tend pay the fees.I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Do you think it is better to just increase my monthly investments by £2 and leave it in cash then? Or will it really matter if I just leave it to them to sell some holdings?0

As HL are about the change their charging, I doubt it really matters.I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.
