Praise- Amazon

Options
Just for a change thought I would give some praise. I ordered most of my Christmas pressies from Amazon and everyone turned up well packaged and on time. I made sure I ordered in good time to make sure they would be here and I was not disappointed.
Well done Amazon.

I have never had a problem either. Most of my Christmas gifts were ordered through Amazon, everything arrived on time or early.

  • Use Amazon lots, even when things do go wrong, like my new 50" TV going missing in transit (it was loaded onto wrong van  so someone somewhere had a nice little present :rotfl: ), they are quick and helpful in resolving the problem.

Me too. Some bits came next day without inflated delivery charges paid. Shame the same cant be said for Zoverstocks via play.com whose shocking service will be remembered as do not use.

I have bought loads of things from Amazon over the last few months. I have not had a single problem with the delivery. I ordered a calendar from Vistaprint with pictures of my dear departed cat (RIP Murphy) and the idiot who delivered it left it outside behind the recycling bin with no note through the door. It was found 3 days later with the packaging soggy as it had been raining. Luckily it wasn't ruined or I might have got angry.

Ordered from both amazon uk and us this year, and both sets of our parents did the same, between us we must have sent 30 or more parcels, every single one got to it's destination when they said it would, unless there was no-one in to receive it, and even then i got emails from amazon keeping me up to date on when they would redeliver, so I could arrange someone to be in. Made doing christmas on different continents an absolute doddle, Amazon did a great job.

The above explains why the high street is in such a decline, no queues waiting for cashiers to finish their discussion about last night's drinking session.

Agreed - very impressed with Amazon. Have used the site for many years without problems. Had an issue this year with one of their traders - Amazon sorted out my refund very quickly without any to-ing or fro-ing.
