Samsung smart tv wifi?

Anyone have issues with their wifi on the samsung smart tv?

Mine randomly drops out and I have to reconnect

It's been working fine then all of a sudden last night it dropped 3 or 4 times every few mins driving us mad.

All up to date firmware and nothing changed on the router.

Do you have issues with any other devices on the network? How far away from the access point is the TV? Have you tried changing the wireless channel?

Could just be a crap wireless chipset in the TV, is hardwiring an option?

All other devices seem fine, no drop out issues etc and I tried different channels too

Do you think the wifi module is faulty? I could return it as amazon are pretty good. But reading up it may be a widespread problem.

I could use plugs I guess

i have had a samsung smart tv for 6 months only recently tried watching itvplayer, it froze quite a few times, son informs me his smart tv did the same that night(boxing night) he said he doesnt normally have any problems
