I bought a laptop from Argos and in hp site it shows it was purchased year ago. I think Argos sold me an second hand item.
It created some confusion and i didn't send my laptop to the repair while it was under warranty. I thought mine was expired now i've a found a receipt but missed a year.

You mean it was made a year ago. Not sold a year ago.
Or you bought it over a year ago but you forgot.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
So how far out of warranty are you?0

The warranty clock starts ticking the day that the kit is bought from the retailer, most people don't bother to register their purchase and then get their knickers in a twist when the warranty help desk only has the date it left the factory as an indication of how old it is. If anyone buys a product with a warranty they should register it and keep a copy of the proof of purchase most vendors will accept this as proof of warranty.0
