Spacey, i moved out^
Thequant, it was not a payment plan as such, it was more a "i will pay what i can when i can" and this was regular as a day whilst i was working, but as i was made redundancy, the payments were not as frequent, however, did still continue.
I have always responded to his emails and told him whats happening, etc.
I am in a position to start paying and sticking to my payment plan. It would automatically be sent by standing order from my student maintenance payments before i even have the chance to look at it. This offer is actually greater than what i was initially paying.
STOP.
Did he then get some else to move in during the time you are being charged for?
Eg u moved out in January, contract til June, but he had a new tenant in den. But still wants u til june0 -
They seem to be a bit shy about declaring their address...It's
UNIT 10
JUBILEE WAY
FAVERSHAM
UNITED KINGDOM
ME13 8GD
They are obliged to show their company registration number and address on their website which they don't do. If they annoy you feel free to report them to companies house for this which should get them a telling off0 -
I too would like clarification of the debt. Please confirm/answer:
* you signed a 1 year tenancy agreement
* there is no 'Break Clause' in the tenancy agreement ? (Check!)
* you lived there for X months (?)
* you paid all the rent for those X months (?)
* you moved out (after X months)
* you agreed to pay rent for the remaining Y months
* you started to run up rent arrears
* the arrears are now £Z (or = to x months rent)
* the landlord has left the property empty (??)
* you still have the keys (since you are still a tenant paying rent)??
Depending on answers you may have NO obligation to pay.0
