How to contact ebay after case closed.

I bought an item and raised a SNAD case.
The seller was slow to respond and vague and requested I return the item.
I emailed back for clarification and details of return.
I didn't receive a reply.
ebay closed the case "This case was automatically closed because the maximum amount of time a case can stay open has been reached.".
I'm now trying to figure out how to contact ebay, as they've just closed it without bothering whether the issue is resolved.
Can anybody point me in the right direction?

Why did you not escalate the case to ebay rather than waiting for it to time out?
Ebay don't leave cases open forever, you need to take action if the seller doesn't reply or the situation is not resolved. If you don't take action ebay assume that because you've had plenty of time the case has been solved.
I'd suggest ringing ebay and explaining the situation, although I'm not sure what they'll say considering you let the case close (someone else on here might know).0 -
There is nowhere to go
You should have escalated the case after 8 days for ebay to decide,if you do not escalate then the dispute will time out after 30 days.
Once you let the case time out, as you didn't escalate, it will close and you cannot open another case.
There is nothing more that can be done via ebay0 -
Yep, can't re open the case unfortunately and customer services won't do anything for you. It's crap0

How is it crap? You get plenty of time to solve things and escalate the case to ebay if you're not getting anywhere. Sure they send an email after so many days to suggest escalating it as well. What more do you want? What are they expected to do? The system is there, it's not their fault if people don't follow it.0 -
It's crap because I went through the process last month for an item. I was promised a refund by the seller, it was in writing from the case dispute, the refund didn't go through, ebay closed the case automatically and I didn't get my money back.
They said they could see the refund transaction failed in PayPal but said they won't get involved after cases are closed and of course the seller won't communicate with me now.
They unfortunately don't use their common sense.0 -

Ah. Well that's different if the refund failed to go through. In this case the buyer didn't escalate despite the fact the seller wasn't doing anything.
Have you rang Paypal and explained the situation? Ebay may not care so much as the failed transaction was with Paypal and not on ebay. Maybe try their Twitter/Facebook page too as they will be more likely to do something that way.0 -
Damn - I missed the escalate option.0
