Bedroom window leaking

Hi

I hope someone can help. After the storms I have realised that my bedroom window is leaking from the top. When the windows were installed the room was wallpapered so when I stripped the walls and pulled the wallpaper it pulled the top of the frame away from the top of the window recess (if you know what I mean). What should I do? Will adding silicone between the frame and recess work or do I need to seal it from the outside as well?

Always try to seal a leak from the outside.

Thanks for the quick response. Any ideas what I would use to seal the leak?

If the leak is fairly a small one silicone should do it. Careful if it needs painting though.
