Hiya guys,
Got my new laptop home today and the touch pad is acting strange.
I can move my mouse all over apart from left to right to the middle of the touch pad.
I can move the mouse right by using the center of the pad to right..but I can't use left to center does that make sense?
It works if I move it up slightly and it *sometimes* works if I wave the mouse all over the screen starting from center sometimes it tends to 'keep hold' of the mouse but usally stops working if your in the left to center area.
Should I take it back ? Will they even take it back as its bloody pc world?
I'm abit worried that if I am already having problems with touch pad now its going to get worse...I could probally manage with it but since the maj of me using the touch pad is left to center scrolling its already getting really annoying.

People don't know what they want until you show them.

Try going to Device Manager, (as an Administrator), find the touchpad in the list and uninstall it by right-clicking, then restart the computer. The touchpad will reinstall itself afresh automatically as the computer restarts. This should fix it if perhaps the touchpad driver has been corrupted. You can lose a loose goose.
You cannot loose a lose goose.
Get it? Now use it before you lose it.
or - Try using it - not losing it.
