Hi everyone,
have been really suprised by the massive hike in prices for using vistaprint and the far less often good email deals i get through. we print alot of our family and charity stationary through vistaprint but its not even remotely as cheap as it used to be
.... has anyone found any good alternatives / equivalent companies ???
thanks in advance

I've been using easyprint recently, same kind of online printing wizard, but without all the additional extras that vista print and the like charge for.
But it depends what you need, their prices for say 5000 double sided business cards are around £45, 5000 a6 flyers £40 etc
I've food the print quality to be good, and fairly fast delivery considering it's included.
If you've got the designs already, try Unitedprint, same company buy without the editor, and you upload print ready files, a few quid cheaper than vista print.0 -
I used www.flyerzone.co.uk for my last lot of business cards, quality is spot on and there guidance on making my own design was very helpful.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

I too have been disappointed by the huge increase in prices at Vistaprint.
We only want/need small quantities of cards or flyers at any time as our timetable and services change frequently and we don't want to be left with out of date information.
250 cards or 50-100 flyers was just right for us. - pity.

For really small print runs like the 50-100 flyers mentioned above perhaps think about getting a laser printer. I have a black & white samsung one, print quality is excellent (if you use decent paper), cost me £40 two years ago and toner lasts forever and is about £13 or less to replace via various ebay traders. Black & white means it is best for just text but apart from that it means you can do small print runs for pennies in no time at all. I'm constantly amazed how good cheap laser printers can be.
For printing I normally use http://www.instantprint.co.uk/ especially when they have offers on. Like any printer the price per unit goes down dramatically the more you order, no one is interested in small print runs these days.0
