Northern Parrots not keeping Best Price Promise?

First sorry if I have posted this in the wrong place and please move if so.

I made a claim on their best price promise when I found it here 30 pounds cheaper http://www.simplesafetysolutions.com/Heaven-Fresh-NaturoPure-HF-380A-Air-Purifier-with-Remote-Control-Product-2236.html

I got a reply back saying "Thank you for your email Mr Marco84. We do state on our website that the price match relates to items on other sites that are not on promotion or sale. Your link shows that the Heaven Fresh is showing a sale price and, as such, does not fall within the criteria of Best Price Promise as shown below. I apologise for any disappointment caused."

Northern Parrots have it cheaper than the retail price too. Are they correct? Thanks for any help

The price promise is not enshrined in law. They can put whatever terms they like on it. Even if it means you have to wear a bra and send them pictures of the fact to get a price match.

So it seems they are correct.

Their website says the best price promise is "excluding temporary promotions". This forms part of the contract you agreed with them, and they are indeed correct.
