Churchill car insurance quote ?????

Three times i have went through cashback sites(different ones) to do churchill car ins.
Each times it goes through all ok, tracking through the cashback sites ok., churchill takes my payment , tells me policy is on its way.
About 4 or so days later i get a letter from churchill saying i havent completed the sale and it is still sitting as a quote.
Cashback seems to know i have completed the sale..
So after the 101 excuses of how it was not their fault, but the cashback sites, i got fed up, and escalated it, further, who eventually accepted it was some glitch in their system, they will escalate it , which can take any amount of time as there is no time limit., they then send a ;letter with thier findings.....which will probably just come back as brushing off blame again.
To top it all off, the little team leader, in a patrinising tone, then proceeded to tell me 1 would have no cover....which i had to explain i would have 21 days cover as the letter said so.
Anybody had this before, and how does it get sorted
