Sainsburys Download Manager

Hi, have downloaded some mp3s from Sainsburys but can't get them to play properly. One track comes up with the message in the media player that it has an extension not recognized and the other two start to play then stutters and stops playing. I've re-downloaded them but still no good. A couple of other tracks I downloaded play fine. Any ideas?

What extensions do the files have then? It could be they use a format that you have no codecs for on your computer.

download VLC player it plays nearly all known formats.

I am downloading Mp3s, surely that is the format and should play on mediaplayer. Several of the tracks including an whole album play just fine, it's just three other songs that won't play. It doesn't say what the extensions are just that it can't play them, I did get the message OXCOOD1199. Was hoping to record them all straight onto a cd via mediaplayer, I have Roxio and will try them out on there but I always have awful trouble recording anything with it, as soon as I put a blank cd in it starts formatting it for up to an hour!

Find the destination folder where the mp3's are located, i downloaded 2 albums yesterday using the D/load manager, couldnt get the files to play so i chnaged the file ext to mp3 (or maybe you dont need to add the .mp3) and they now play.

I also had problems after my pc crashed while downloading, and the download manager wouldn't try again as I had reached the maximum number of allowed downloads (ie 1).

Eventually I found the downloaded files and they had all been saved with the extension ".mp3.tmp", so I just deleted the ".tmp" and then they were fine.

How do you view the extensions, when I click the file and then properties they just say Mp3 format nothing else?

Right click on 1 of the files, rename, remove the ".tmp " as Cuddles saysand away you go. I think ive gone a bit ott with adding .mp3 at the end of the ones I renamed.

Well opened the files and clicked rename and none of the ones that won't play have anything at the end, checked the ones that do and they all say MP3 after the title. Tried adding mp3 to titles but still won't play. Thank you for taking time in trying to help but looks like I'll have to get back onto Sainsburys and see if they'll let me download them again.
